DIFFER and TU/e are participating in the weekend van de wetenschap (Weekend of Science). On Saturday, 5 October, from 12:00 to 5:00, visitors can immerse themselves in the energy of future at DIFFER. 

At DIFFER, more than 30 activities are scheduled for both children and adults. This day, the institute will focus on the sun, with lectures, experiments, programming workshops, and (tasty) crafts. With life-like robots, the institute links AI and robotics, showing how they will play a role in future research. Research facilities like Magnum-PSI, Ion Beam Faciity, and DICE will also be open to visitors. 

Additionally, TU/e studens will take visitors from the DIFFER building on a tour of the student team workshop. Driving on solar power becomes a reality with Solar Team Eindhoven's solar car. Visitors can also check out TU/ecomotive's highly sustainable car and marvel at the autonomous electric race cars of University Racing Eindhoven. After the tour, visitors can head straight to the solar car workshop.
