Women in Science: Apply for French Fellowships l'Oréal-UNESCO

The 2017 edition of the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards will designate five outstanding scientific researchers in the Physical Sciences, who each will receive an award of €100,000. Deadline applications: 27 March 2017.

Prof. Ian Chapman to become new CEO of the UK fusion programme

On the 3th of August, Professor Ian Chapman has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA). Starting on the 1st of October, professor Chapman takes over the CEO position of professor Steve Cowley.
