Renaissance Fusion is looking for a Product Manager to provide key data relevant to the commercialization of proprietary innovations in High-Temperature Superconducting (HTS) magnets and liquid metal (LM) walls.
The Product Manager will understand the extended customer needs, find potential interconnected applications, estimate sales and translate requirements into a product strategy for prototyping and final development by the engineering teams.
Working in a cross-functional team, the Product Manager will drive the industrialization to comply with applicable regulations and improve profitability. The mission includes customer-experience reports aimed at optimizing competitiveness. The Product Manager will report to the Head of Business Development and Sales.
Responsibilities

Participate in the development and industrialization of a range of high technological products to make them fit to market expectations in terms of applications, regulations, costs, and time-to-market.

In close contact with the business analyst, analyze and provide structured information about competitors, sales trends, customer expectation, target prices, and time-to-market to the direction and the engineering department, anticipate changes in products, offers and technologies.

Together with the engineering, procurement and manufacturing teams, estimate the cost of production and ensure their consistency with actual costs.

Guarantor of the quality of the product, the Product Manager will provide data about regulations and industrial constraints to the engineering team.

Once the product is in the market, the Product Manager analyzes the commercial and technical results obtained, proposes solutions to strengthen competitiveness, sets up monitoring criterias to evaluate customer satisfaction and proposes appropriate corrective actions, maintaining reporting on progress.

Participate in the promotion strategy of the product(s), provide support to the sales force in their commercial actions. Propose actions to make the product “easy to sell”.

Make the sales support of the products (commercial presentations, sales brochures, posters) and provide commercial arguments to stand out from the competition.
Qualifications:

Engineering Degree with robust knowledge in marketing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and in another language

Curious and interested in deep tech and “big science”

Able to work in a cross-functional team

Problem-solving oriented

Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Proficient use of the Microsoft Office package
