It is with sadness we learn that Prof. Valery Kurnaev, director of Moscow National Research Nuclear University (MEPhi) in Russia, has passed away last week.

To FuseNet, he has been an enthusiastic contact and representative of MEPhi, one of the Russian member institutes.
