On 14 October, we held the Teacher Day 2022. With over 150 secondary school teachers from 33 different countries attending the online event, the day was a great success! The day consisted of domestic sessions (held in the local language), followed by the European session. In this general session, the role of FuseNet was explained, and guest speakers from ITER and W-7X showed their facilities and explained some of the basics of fusion. We also presented our original educational materials for secondary schools that we have released over the past year.
A big thank you to all participants and the organisers of the domestic sessions! We very much enjoyed hosting the event from our Executive Office.
