Derniére ligne droite, that's French for: "coming in to the home stretch". In this blog I will try to give you an idea about the research I am carrying during my 3rd year of PhD and how I'm coming in to the home stretch..
Moi, un Experimentalist
I am an Experimental Physicist and even though I'm a real experimentalist, I have no personal problems with other areas and types of physicists, such as Theorists, Engineers and Technicians. Having said that, I can start explaning why it took me so much time to start this blog - but here I am! - finally happy to be able to type in my first words.
Cooperation with PPPL
It took so much time because when the blogs got started I was in such a busy period, I was preparing for a very important collaboration at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory and to be honest I had little time to spend on writing 'A Blog'. Now that I have spent those last months of December and November working hard and achieved a successful project, I am very happy to share with you stories, experiments and horrible events that I am experiencing during my PhD. Next time I will tell you more about the challenges of my project and the cooperation with PPPL.
